Exhibitions

The exhibition comprises two unusual types of Japanese print - the triptych and the hashira-e (pillar print).

It was ten years ago that I first encountered the works of the artist Noriko Yanagisawa. That was when we were planning her first exhibition at the Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art in Haifa, Israel.

A Japanese fable relates that while out hunting Prince Yamato Takeru was enchanted by the beauty of the trees in their autumn glory.
